Finally Gaining Momentum in 2024
Your habits start to get better... Your mindset gets better. Your results get better.
Wow, what a week. It’s 20 days into the new year, and I’m finally seeing myself becoming consistent again.
Like I was saying in my previous newsletter, I slacked off on my fitness and let myself drink more than I usually would since November.
That continued into 2024, and I felt like the first two weeks of the year, I wasn’t very motivated.
I didn’t feel like working out, but I still did a solid amount.
I wasn’t motivated to work hard.
I felt overextended.
I felt burned out.
I finally stopped the cycle of drinking a few times per week and cut it out completely this week.
And my mindset this week was much better.
I found a video this week that blew my mind 3 separate times.
I sent it to a friend, and he said the same thing, that it was amazing.
For me, this is one of the best videos I’ve watched on YouTube in a long time.
I stumbled onto this YouTube channel from Charlie Morgan, and I really like this guy. It’s my favorite channel I’ve found since Dan Koe, which is saying something.
In this video, he talks about how we operate as a system. The inputs we give result in outputs, which seems obvious, but the way he explains it is so much better.
If you have bad inputs, your body is going to produce bad outputs. You will have to deal with the results of those and overcome them.
That is what I was experiencing for the last 3 months. My inputs were bad, and as a result, I had to work even harder to overcome the negative outputs of my mindset, energy, and body.
My inputs this week were better. I stopped drinking. I ate better. And my body looks the best it’s looked in a few weeks.
My mindset has been way better this week.
I had a call with a friend, got a new plan for X in 2024, and I feel good about it.
Everything all improved this week because my inputs were better.
It’s crazy. It seems obvious, but we need reminders sometimes.
